It's been a rough indoor drumline season for Natalie this year. After a long marching band season with two shows to learn and a trip to Tampa over Christmas break that she didn't want to do, Natalie was already kind of burned out on band before the drumline season even started. Add to that a touch of "senioritis" and a show that the judges just didn't seem to appreciate, and she all but had to drag herself to each and every practice. Their show this year was called "Shadows". They did pretty well in their local competitions and won 1st place at SCGC regionals (there was only one other team in their class). They thought they had a good run at World's but apparently the judges didn't really like it because they didn't make it past preliminaries. I'm sure she will have great memories of her time in drumline, but we are both pretty glad to be done.
