Warning! Parental Exuberance Ahead!

At the risk of sounding like one of those annoying boaster-stickers stuck to the back of minivans all across the country, I just have to post a few lines on the recent accomplishments of my incredible kids. Those of you who don't think my kids are four of the wonders of the universe may want to stop reading now. Seriously, this is going to get braggy.

Natalie did great at her recent solo and ensemble competition. She scored a 1 (the highest score) and got a medal for her performance. She also found out that she made it into the highest band for school next year. Only three of the 10 percussionists in her beginning band class made it into this group.

Emily had her last gymnastics meet of the season on Saturday, and was first place all-around. She competed level six and scored high enough to exit out of the level and out of compulsories. Next season she will compete in the 'big leagues' as an optional gymnast. She is excited because this means she gets to wear a fancy leotard instead of the plain black ones she had for compulsories.

Brandon brought home straight-A's on his latest progress report, again. That kid is getting so smart. He especially loves bringing home better grades than Emily who, this year, discovered that she actually had to study.

Bryce earned his orange belt in Karate a few weeks ago. His favorite moves are the rolls. He also likes it when he gets to teach the white belts, or the tiny kids as he calls them, during class. His teacher is always gushing about what good students both Brandon and Bryce are.

I sure love my amazing little crew!
