JCHS at State

Emily is on the varsity cheer squad at her high school this year.  So far, its been a lot more intense than being on her middle school squad.  More practices, more games, more training, more pressure.  They won first place at their first competition a few weeks ago and were really hopeful that they would do well at their State Championships on Saturday.  They had a good, clean performance but ended up coming in second.  Which wouldn't be so bad except that the team that beat them was their cross town rivals.   I guess you can't win them all.  I'm still proud of her.
