Thursday night Emily broke her ankle at cheer practice. She was working with one of the coaches and fell out of a stunt. The coach caught her but, as she came down, she landed on top of his foot and rolled her ankle.
She got an awesome boot that she will have to wear for the next 6 weeks and is super excited to be starting high school as an invalid. She will be in good company, though. Two other youth in our ward also broke their ankles this week. One on Wednesday playing basketball and one on Friday while ice skating. We got a picture of the three of them at church today. Notice the bows on Emily's boot and the pillow pets on her crutches--Emily does everything with style!
